BUSINESS OVERVIEW:

The Enterprise Services (ES) department encompasses 5 teams: (i) Procurement, (ii) Third Party Management Office, (iii) Workplace & Corporate Services, (iv) Location Strategy and (v) the Data Office for CIB Americas.

It is responsible for reinforcing and elevating three strategic mandates for the Bank in support of the CIB Americas Ambition 2025:

  • The articulation of a long-term Workspace Strategy to support the implementation of Smart Working and the Americas Location Strategy
  • The development of a strategic posture on Procurement and Vendor Management
  • The development and strengthening of an integrated Data Management platform and associated services

Within ES, the Chief of Staff office is responsible for supporting the Head of Enterprise Services by handling the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute change roadmap for Enterprise Services in support of Ambition 2025
  • Oversee and complete ad-hoc projects and special assignments
  • Provide strategic and tactical support for formal and informal governance
  • Develop and execute against communication plan
  • Work closely with the Business and Program Management team on transversal topics

The selected candidate will report to the Chief of Staff office and be integrally involved in the above mandates, supporting ES progress and developing key skills around project management and data analysis.

  • Client Focus – as ES is supporting the entire Americas platform, all ES internal stakeholders are considered and treated as clients with who we build strong relationships to support their needs
  • Project Management skills – being structured, organized and get to know the basis of project management will allow the candidate to succeed in the accomplishment of simple to complex tasks
  • Problem Solving initiative – given the variety of topics led by ES, thinking out of the box and bringing creative thinking to solve issues will be a strong tool
  • Analytical Skills – data has become an asset for all Businesses and the ability to manage and analyze it will allow the candidate to perform and present critical analysis for ES

  • Participate in weekly senior speaker events and roundtable discussions to gain a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and the industry
  • Network with colleagues and learn about industry topics through workshops and speaker series, as well as through philanthropy and social events

COMPENSATION:

The base salary for this position in Jersey City, NJ is $75,000.
