2023 - Summer Assistant Vice President Internship - CIB Functions, Analytics Lab (Change & Solutions)

BUSINESS OVERVIEW:

Change & Solutions is an integrated and agile structure to facilitate the delivery of change solutions across the BNPP platform, with deep interconnectivity across businesses and functions in order to support the execution of priority initiative combining, from strategic consulting to execution.

The Analytics Lab falls under Change & Solutions and is responsible for the industrialization of data driven and AI opportunities for the Americas region. The Analytics Lab innovates and implements ideas that positively influence how we operate. It is a center of expertise in CIB Americas to maximize the bank understanding of customers, enhance products, services and operations with a data driven approach.

• Graduation year of Winter 2023 – Spring 2024
• Master’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Optimization, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative related field
• Expertise in some of the major programming languages (Python, C/C++, C#, Java, Scala..), statistical software (R, Pandas, ..) and data wrangling tools (e.g. SQL, Elastic Search…)
• Proven ability to use mathematical techniques to draw inferences and solve business issues.
• Technical experience and applied knowledge of traditional machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks and tools (Tensorflow, PyTorch…)
• Experience with source control and release management (Git)
• Interest or experience in MLOps tools (e.g. DVC, MLFLow …) or CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Docker …)
• Positive, energetic, flexible and self-motivated team player with strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency to interact professionally
• Very strong work ethic and ability to deal with confidential information

As an Intern, you will:

• Engage in an initial induction training that will set you up to succeed, and allow you to network with your intern class across all business divisions
• Complete technical projects and collaborate with colleagues across the Bank, gaining exposure to real work in order to identify your skills and explore where your interests align
• Participate in weekly senior speaker events and roundtable discussions to gain a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and the industry
• Network with colleagues and learn about industry topics through workshops and speaker series, as well as through philanthropy and social events

COMPENSATION:

The annualized base salary for this position in Jersey City, NJ is $130,000.
